Delete your boating.systems account

The quickest path is inside Chart: open ⓘ → Delete my account. You’ll confirm your Google or Apple sign-in and receive an on-screen receipt.

If you cannot open the app, email the address below from the email address on the Google or Apple account you sign in with. Use the subject “Delete my boating.systems account.” We may ask you to confirm ownership before acting.

What will be deleted

Your account access, private profile information, boats, settings and private outings across boating.systems.
Operational references that must survive will be anonymized. Records subject to a legal retention period may be retained only for that period and disconnected from your public identity.
Tracks stored only on a phone are removed by clearing Chart’s app storage or uninstalling it.

Requests are normally completed within 30 days. We will confirm completion by email.

Delete some data, without closing your account

One outing. Open Outings in Chart and choose Delete on the one you want gone. Signed in, deleting that trip in Log removes the trip, its notes, photos and voice notes; the stored copy of its track is not yet removed automatically, so email us and we will remove it.
Every track on this phone. Turn off Keep tracks on this phone in Chart’s settings, or clear the app’s storage. Signed out, that is the only copy there has ever been.
Anything else. Email the address above with the subject “Delete specific data” and say what you want removed. Your account stays open.
